Two followers of Allama Mamunul Haque, former joint secretary general of Islam,
have been arrested for visiting the Narayanganj court, Narayanganj Additional
Superintendent of Police Jahed Parvez Chowdhury said, adding that they would be

The detainees were identified as Mahmudul Hasan, 22, son of Mohammad Mizanur
Rahman of Kalindi village in Dhaka's Keraniganj and Mohammad Ali, 22, son of
Mohammad Aynal Haque of Veri Patal village in Tangail on Monday night.
Mamunul Haque's lawyer, Advocate Omar Farooq, said that when Mamunul Haque was
being picked up in a police van at the end of the court proceedings, some of
his followers retreated and tried to chant slogans.

arrested two persons. They are the suspects in Sonargaon police sabotage case.
